Oregon University System international exchange programs are located in China, Denmark, Ecuador, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, Mexico and Thailand. While new programs are continually being developed, some programs are nearly 40 years old. OUS exchange programs are available to students on any of the OUS campuses. System wide exchanges complement and enhance individual campus programs by broadening the range of geographic and disciplinary offerings. Many students also choose to combine a study experience with an international internship offered through OUS International Programs.

The IE3 Global Internship Program is a system wide program that serves students on all OUS campuses in addition to selected other partner institutions. This program gives Oregon students opportunities to gain professional experience in a wide array of academic fields throughout the world. Internship sites include private sector companies, government agencies, schools, social service programs, and non-governmental organizations.

Recruitment, application, selection and orientation for both exchange programs and internships are coordinated through a cooperative network of campus representatives at each participating university.
