Oregon University System (OUS) International Programs is committed to providing exemplary support
to students and we value the presence of international students in Oregon's Universities. We believe that the movement of students across national boundaries brings opportunities for greater understanding and personal diplomacy.
Every year the OUS hosts approximately 200 students from 49 institutions and ten countries from
around the world. Exchange students are able to attend an OUS institution because of specific contractual agreements between the OUS and the partner universities overseas on an exchange
basis, which means that students pay tuition and remain enrolled at their home institution while taking classes in Oregon that earn credit towards their degree.
